The Power of Decision

YOU MUST MAKE A FIRM DECISION FOR WHAT YOU WANT BEFORE YOU CAN TURN YOUR DREAM INTO REALITY, even in the absence of perfect conditions. Because, once you make a firm decision, a whole range of things will rush to your aid for the fulfillment of that decision.

It’s the Law of Attraction in Action!

The difference between very successful people and people who get mediocre results is that highly successful people are able to decide for what they would love in the absence of knowing how.

People who experience being stuck are the ones who want to see all green lights before they will back their car out of the driveway.

HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE ARE WILLING TO MAKE A DECISION IN THE ABSENCE OF PERFECT CONDITIONS.

Judy’s Story

Here’s a true story about how this works:

Judy, a single mom of two kids went through the DreamBuilder Program. Her situation is very different from yours, but the steps she took are EXACTLY the same steps YOU can take to achieve your dream,no matter how big it is.

Judy didn’t have much education. She worked in a fast food restaurant during the day and did alterations as a seamstress at night. She lived in a tiny one-bedroom apartment with her two children. Her dream was to have a HOUSE for her family.

Judy was invited by a friend to attend a Dream Builder presentation and she decided that if she was ever going to change her life, she was going to need support. So she took a huge leap, and made a decision for her dream by enrolling in the DreamBuilder Program. This was a very challenging thing for her to do with her income, but she got up her courage and made a DECISION to do whatever was necessary to change her life.

She told her coach that her dream was to own her own home, but she only had $500 a month for rent and there was NO WAY she could EVER buy or even rent a house for $500/month.

Her coach asked her to describe the house she was dreaming of, and Judy had difficulty even doing that because she was so focused on how impossible it seemed. It was a struggle, but eventually Judy did come up with a description of her dream house.

It had a white picket fence, a welcoming front porch, 3 bedrooms, so each of the boys could have their own room, and a fenced backyard so they could have a dog, “But,” she said again, “I only have $500 a month. You can’t get a house like this for $500 mo. That’s impossible.”

Knowing how dreams CAN come true, Judy’s coach said, “That’s a wonderful dream. I can absolutely see you having that. Now that you have a clear mental picture of the house, go out and look for it.”

Judy thought this was crazy and told her coach again, “I only have $500 a month! Her coach encouraged her to look anyway.

After two weeks Judy called her coach with amazement and frustration, saying, “I FOUND MY DREAM HOME!” It’s exactly what I envisioned! BUT it’s $900 a month rent! There’s no way I can afford it!”

If Judy had been doing this on her own, that would have been the end of it, and to this day she might still be living in that tiny one bedroom apartment. But her Coach had the mindset, knew the principles, and the questions to ask.

Her coach asked, “If you didn’t think it was impossible and you really thought there was a chance, what would you do?”

At first Judy couldn’t even grasp this line of reasoning, but after a week or so she thought, “Okay, what would I do if I thought it was possible?” And she got an idea. She would write a letter to the owner, explaining her situation and offering to make improvements on the house. In her letter, Judy described 40 things she would do to improve the house if the owner would provide the materials and rent it to her for $500 a month.

Three weeks later she got a call from the owner. He said, “I don’t know why I’m doing this, but something in your letter just won’t leave me alone. Here’s the deal. You sign a contract outlining what you’ll do each quarter and I’ll let you live in the house for $500 a month.”

Judy immediately called her Coach and told her, “We’re moving! In 30 days I’ll have my dream home!”

Isn’t that a wonderful story?

The story doesn’t end there…

within three years Judy OWNED that home! Not only had her dream come true – she had learned a new way of thinking and that new way of thinking created a new career for her. She started her own home-based business, her income soared and she got to spend more time with her children at the same time. Her whole life had a new dimension.

So, what about you and your dreams?

It starts by saying to yourself

“Today is the day I’m going after my dream.

Today is the day I say no to the doubts and reasons that it won’t work

And say yes to the possibilities and opportunities.”

Today is the day I’m going to suspend belief in any limitations or conditions and believe in a higher power.”

Take action on your dream today by enrolling in the DreamBuilder Program and you will have a coach to ask the right questions, keep you moving forward and celebrate your success.

I’m looking forward to seeing you on the first coaching call on Jan 4th at 7:00 AM (PST). I’ll send you the Zoom link. (You can wear your bunny slippers!) and the class will be recorded so you won’t miss a thing if you can’t make it in person.
