Happy New Year

Sharing is caring!

A lovely prescription for a happy new year from The Joyous Living Journal…..

December 30

Release the Past

This past year, you have done good and given love. You have accomplished, created, and enjoyed things. Find every ounce of good, and praise it! Just don’t take anything into the New Year that doesn’t serve your highest good and your ability to give your gift as a blessing to the world.

This last day of the year, you have come to the “great exhale” at the end! Now is the time to release anything you do not choose to carry with you into this next year. Release resentments, unforgiveness, grudges, and judgments. Release smallness, fear, uncertainty, and worry. Release your worries over things that didn’t work out and your embarrassment over times you were unconscious. Release it all with a great exhale!

Reflection: What have you learned, experienced, discovered, and explored this past year?  What are you exhaling and releasing?

Affirmation: I burn away the past in the fire of forgiveness and release. I exhale fear, doubt, resentment, shame, and blame. I move into the new year free and unencumbered.
